Revolutionary method against baldness

It is not a new miracle product placed on the market, but a real solution that can solve your current hair problems for life. Leaving hopes and promises behind, medicine took a step forward, and developed the method and devices that can help you to get back the original density of your hair in 1 day. This technique is hair transplantation!

Get back the original density of your hair in 1 day! >>

Nowadays baldness’ negative physiological effects concern millions of people!

Baldness may cause not only aesthetical, but also psychological problems in a man’s life. Together these problems result in the loss of self-confidence, and cause serious inhibitions that affect  the quality of life, relationships and everyday life in a negative way.

If there are balding men among their ancestors, there is a 95% chance that men inherit the responsible genes. This type of hair loss is called androgenetic alopecia, and is easily recognisable: hair recedes from the frontal hairline, and continuous hair loss can be noticed on the top of the head too.

You should not feel alone with this type of problem! Millions of British men aged 25-50 suffer from androgenetic alopecia, also called hereditary hair loss. Around 25% of men are affected before they turn 21, and the number drastically increases as men become older. Around 85% of men older than 50 suffer from baldness. These are incredibly large numbers.

A lot of miracle products are available on the market and are used by several men, but they have been proven ineffective.

Surely you have met many products already that promised to stop hair loss and make your hair grow back… You tried them and you ended up being disappointed – this is not surprising at all.

An unbelievably wide range of products are sold in drugstores and pharmacies. In addition to special hair lotions, herbs and vitamins, there are mesotherapy and laser treatments, laser combs and Minoxidil available, and the list goes on.

The basic reason why these products and treatments cannot bring a breakthrough solution against hair loss is that no method can bring dead hair follicles back to life. Therefore, we can be sure that no matter which product we choose, hair will not grow back on the bald areas.

On  the whole, we can say that the different miracle products and treatments can effectively slow hair loss down and strengthen weak hairs. They cannot bring dead hair follicles back to life, thus there was no way to get back dense hair on bald areas – until now!

The revolutionary and perfect solution to baldness is hair transplantation!

Hair transplantation became one of the most popular aesthetic interventions among men. With this method, hair loss can surely be defeated. Compared to the previously mentioned products and methods, hair transplantation offers a conceptually different alternative solution.

Hair transplant offers definitive and real solution to baldness,

because hairs – that are not sensitive to hormonal effects and will never fall out – are harvested manually, one by one from the back and sides of the head (donor areas) in units containing 1-3 hairs (grafts). The harvested grafts are processed under a microscope, then transplanted to the balding areas using a special implanter. These grafts settle into their new place, and grow as in their original spot.

Getting back the missing hair takes only 1 day,

and, more importantly, during the intervention a very gentle technique and special devices are used, that make possible to carry out the procedure in a totally pain-free way.

No wounds, scars and pain,

as in the more than 30 years of refining the technology, scientists achieved that beside being fast and pain-free, the intervention leaves basically no visible traces on the scalp. Thereby the healing period is also minimised.

Hair transplantation offers an aesthetically perfect solution to  hair loss,

because the direction, depth and angle of the hairs can be controlled during the implantation, and adapted to the original situation, thus a genuine, dense and natural appearance can be achieved.

You can get back not only your old appearance and youthfulness, but your self-confidence too.

Dense hair is a symbol of youth. 90% of patients who underwent a hair transplant surgery claimed that their self-confidence got bigger, their life became happier and more balanced, and their frustrations related to hair loss disappeared after the surgery.

Only one disadvantage can be mentioned when it comes to hair transplantation,

the relatively high prices. The price varies from patient to patient, so it is worth to consult our specialists in all cases, because it is the number of the implanted hairs that defines the price.

Overall, if your donor area possesses the number of hairs needed to recover the balding zones, hair transplantation offers a real and aesthetic solution to baldness.

Secret of the FUE Hair Transplant Method’s Success

The FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method means harvesting the hairs by natural groupings, so-called follicular units, which will then be implanted. The instrument used for the FUE makes a small circular section in the scalp around the follicular unit, separating it from the skin tissue. Then the unit is removed using surgical tweezers. Only a minuscule circular mark will remain on the scalp.

These steps are repeated until the surgeon has harvested sufficient amounts of follicular units, also called grafts, to create the look agreed upon with the patient. The entire procedure lasts a few hours, but for a large amount of grafts, it can be repeated on the following day. The tiny holes left on the donor area (of about 1 mm in size) heal within 7-10 days after the procedure. The remaining small white dots are completely covered by the hair on the sides and the back of the head.

This method of harvesting the donor hair, the removal of follicular units one by one is what differentiates the FUE from the FUT (Follicular Unit Transplant) method. For the FUT, donor hair is harvested by removing a long, wide strip of the scalp, at once. This strip will then be cut up into small units with the help of a stereomicroscope, before the hair is implanted.

Following the removal of grafts, small sections are made on the recipient area, with a small, sharp instrument, determining the exact place where grafts will be implanted. The follicular units are then placed in these holes, where they will grow new and healthy hairs. The difference between the FUE and FUT is the harvesting method of the transplanted grafts, and how natural the result will look. The larger, square-shaped grafts of the FUT method cannot be implanted to create a real natural look, and the result often looks like a doll’s hair (lots of hairs in a small “dot”, with large empty spaces among these dots).

FUE Hair Transplant – Who is an Ideal Candidate?

The FUE hair transplant is also the ideal solution for patients who would like to have very short hair following the procedure, because the FUE will not leave a large linear scar which could be visible even from a distance. Further advantage of the FUE method is that active athletes can also have hair transplants, as they can continue physical activities shortly after the procedure.

Many choose the FUE simply because it is less invasive than the FUT, and it doesn’t feel like a “real” surgical procedure. The truth is, they are both surgical procedures, and the depth of the incision is the same in both techniques. The difference comes from the incision technique and the looks achieved through the hair transplantation.

Celebrity Hair Transplant

Many hair clinics advertise themselves with commercials featuring celebrities, which might suggest that the service is only available for distinguished people – which is not true. Hair loss is a common problem, affecting many people. Thus, this service needs to be available for everybody, and it is. The aim is to make the patients feel comfortable and to provide them with new hair that gives a natural appearance.

How Much Is a FUE Hair Transplant?

The cost of hair transplant can depend on many things. There are so many different techniques involved in hair transplantation, and the full cost depends on many factors such as the number of hairs required, the method, and the location of the clinic. Hair transplant surgery is a lifelong investment into our health and appearance, that’s why the most important thing is for the patient to find the best clinic and method for his needs.

HairPalace Hair Transplant Clinic uses the most modern and most advanced hair transplant method – the FUE2 Safe System – for more than 10 years. The procedure is painless, there are no visible scars, and the result looks natural. We offer a written guarantee for every implanted hair!

How Much Does a FUE Hair Transplant Cost Abroad ?

We examined 100 hair transplant clinics in the European Union, and we also demanded quotes for different hair transplant packages. The following prices are the average prices of the examined clinics in 2018.

Hair Transplant Cost in the UK (from £6,000 to £8,000)

In the UK there is also a huge market for hair transplant. For men and women who suffer from hair loss, the UK offers so many options and clinics. However, the hair transplant prices are very high because of the surgeon’s high salaries in the UK. You can get the same quality in Hungary for half price.

Hair transplant price table

Hair Transplant Cost in Hungary (avg. €3500)

Hungary is a very popular destination for foreign patients who would like to have a high-quality hair transplant for a cheaper price. Low-cost flight tickets make Hungary a very easily viable option for foreign patients for hair transplant and dental treatments. Every year, thousands of patients choose Budapest for their hair transplant.

Hair Transplant Cost in Turkey (avg. €2.000)

Medical tourism grows fast in Turkey as well, and hair transplant surgeries started to take an important role in the industry. The most of the clients come from the Gulf countries and the UK, because of the good prices. The quality is not the same, but it can be a good solution for people who cannot afford a hair transplant in Hungary.

How to Find a Low Price for Hair Transplant in the UK?

There are hundreds of hair transplant clinics on the Harley Street, but those clinics are not affordable at all. If you are looking for a reasonable-priced hair restoration technique, you might want to consider the FUT ( Follicular Unit Transplant ) method. It is not expensive, but also it is not as modern and safe as the FUE method. In addition, the FUT method’s aesthetic result lags behind that of the FUE method.

Hair Transplant Finance

Hair transplant surgeries have a really high price in the UK, but patients have the opportunity to take a loan for this process. On the other hand, they have to wait for the loan for a long time, and then they need to pay back about  Ł6000-8000.

Considering all these facts, the best option is to choose the Hungarian clinic for the hair transplantation. Why? Because the FUE hair transplant method’s cost is 50% lower while providing the same quality as in the UK. The only drawback of choosing this option is that patients cannot claim a loan for the Hungarian hair transplant surgery.

Hair Transplant Reviews

Many hair transplant patient reviews are available on the internet about hair transplant clinics and the applied methods. It is common knowledge that some of these reviews might be fake, as some businesses follow the practice of rating and reviewing themselves. From this follows, that you cannot be certain which reviews are real, but you can observe the tendency. Also, you can check the hair clinics on Facebook, where you can find some information about a number of patients. Here,  the patients’ reviews and comments are displayed together with their names and photos, making the reviews more trustworthy. It is recommended to look for those clinics that have at least 200-300 positive reviews from their patients, as it is unlikely that so many reviews are fake, and that so many patients misjudge a service. It is also worth to look for and read negative comments about the clinics to see if these were written by competitors or dissatisfied patients.

Hair Transplant Recovery

Most patient can return to work several days after the surgery.  In two to three weeks after a hair transplantation procedure the implanted hairs fall out, but you do not have to worry, it is normal! Most of the patients will see about 60-70 % of new hair-growth 5 to 8 months after the surgery. The final result will be visible after 1 year.

Healing Process:

  1. After the intervention: you feel a little tired because of the local anesthesia.
  2. 1st week: crusts appear on the head. Use the spray every hour on the implanted hairs. We recommend to sleep on the first and second day after the surgery in a semi-sitting position because it prevents accidental touching of the implanted areas and helps to reduce swelling at night faster. We suggest to DO NOT do intensive exercises (contact sports and any recreations) during the first few days.
  3. 2nd week: do a gentle massage under the shower on the implanted area to make the crusts disappear. No lifting, sun subjection or getting overheated is accepted until each crusts are gone, generally until around 10 days post-op.
  4. 3rd week: you can use a natural, special shampoo, p.ex.: baby shampoo.
  5. 4th week – 3 months: most of the implanted hairs fall out (SHOCK LOSS). It is normal after the intervention.
  6. 3rd-6th months: the implanted hairs start to grow back slowly.
  7. 12th-18th months: you can see the final result and the spectacular change!

Maximum satisfaction with 6000 implanted hairs! – Fabrice

1 year ago, Fabrice decided to have a hair transplant surgery to implant hairs on his vertex. He received several treatment plans, but finally he chose to go with the biggest one, the 6000-hair package.

On the day of the surgery he arrived to the clinic where he was welcomed by our interpreter, and the preparation for the intervention begun. Via this panorama picture, you can also visit HairPalace’s reception:

This is the reception desk of the HairPalace Clinic, where we welcome our patients before the intervention. Take a look…

Közzétette: HairPalace – 2016. augusztus 23.

In the picture made before the intervention, it is clearly visible on which area Fabrice needed to have the 6000 hairs implanted:

A photo made after the hair transplantation:

Crusts can be seen in the 1st-week post-op photo, these can only be washed off during the 2nd week after the intervention. It is very important for our patients to respect this rule, as this is to make sure that the implanted hairs will remain at their place and grow back.

1-week-after-the-surgery

3 weeks after the intervention the implanted area is healed, and there are no scars thanks to the FUE Safe System method:

The implanted area starts to become more and more dense from the 3rd month following the surgery, but the change is more visible on the 6th-month post-op picture:

When the 1-year check-up examination took place, our doctors found that everything went well, and Fabrice was very satisfied too. Moreover, he booked a new appointment to continue the work on the frontal area by implanting 5000 hairs.

Mark registered on our website, and our coordinator contacted him in the following 24 hours to discuss the zone Mark wanted to treat. He also booked in for a free appointment to a consultation in London. During the meeting, our specialist evaluated the donor area and the balding zones. In the picture made there you can clearly see the area where Mark wanted to implant hairs:

He received his treatment plans via email in 48 hours. Following further discussions about our method and process, he booked the date of his treatment. On the day before the surgery, he was welcomed at the airport by our driver, who took him to his accommodation. The next day he arrived to the clinic. During the 2-day surgery, our surgeon implanted 6000 hairs, that can be seen on this photo taken right after the intervention:

Mark returned to the UK, and sent his first check-up photo 1 week following the surgery:

As always, our specialist verified the 3-week check-up photo too, and she got back to Mark confirming that all went well, and everything looked fine:

The implanted hair falls out until the 3rd post-op month, but you do not have to worry, as it starts to grow back quickly, and you will see incredible changes!

When the 6th post-op month arrives, the implanted hairs get more and more dense, and you can barely see the balding area:

You have to wait 1 year to the implanted hairs to grow back. The difference is huge between the before and after photos:

The Truth about Hair Tourism: Is Travelling Abroad for Surgery Worth It?

$
0
0

Are you thinking about undergoing a hair transplant?

Without a doubt, one of your key concerns will be the cost. Hair restoration surgery in the UK can be extremely expensive, but there is a solution: having the treatment in another country.

You may have heard about people travelling from Great Britain to Hungary for hair transplants before, as well as other cosmetic surgery. This ‘hair tourism’ has helped countless men and women from all over Europe regain a more youthful, fuller head of hair.

The reason for this shift towards Hungarian expertise is simple: hair transplant surgery is not covered by the NHS, and the cost of going private in the UK can be extortionate. Of course, you can expect even cheaper prices in other parts of the world – India or Turkey, for example – but it’s recommended that you stay within the EU. Why?

Let’s take a closer look.

Hair transplants: The price of success

If you want quality, you have to pay for it.

Does this justify Great Britain’s high cost rates of hair transplant surgery? Not necessarily – the prices are related more to the specialist’s salaries rather than the quality of their work.

In Hungary, health professionals are paid less than those in Great Britain, but this is no reflection on their education or training. Hungarian doctors are all held to the same EU standards and regulations as their British counterparts, meaning you can expect the same quality of care in Budapest as you would in London.

Likewise, the equipment and facilities in Hungarian clinics are just as cutting-edge as in the UK and other European countries.

This is why you should stay within the EU, and Hungary especially. Visiting non-EU countries may be a risk, especially those in Asia; the prices may be low, but the standards would be even lower.

What technology is used in Hungarian hair clinics?

Hair transplants involve transferring healthy hair follicles from a donor site to bald areas of the scalp. When you visit HairPalace’s colleagues in Budapest, your surgery will be performed using the cutting-edge FUE2 SafeSystem.

The FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) technique was introduced in 1988. This was revolutionary, allowing surgeons to harvest follicular units one-by-one rather than in strips. As a result, the vast majority of a patient’s healthy follicles would survive the shock of the procedure, increasing the success of hair transplants significantly.

The FUE2 SafeSystem technique is the most state-of-the-art option available to patients today. This debuted in the USA in the early 2000s and expanded the standard FUE method.

Using this technique, the hair follicle units are extracted with even more precision and care, reducing the number of damaged ones even further.

There’s more to a successful procedure than the technology and tools, though: your surgeon’s experience, knowledge, and training are all critical to a positive outcome. They have to know how to separate different types of grafts, how to spread out the extraction sites, how to implant the units, and make sure donor hairs are a natural fit with surrounding hairs.

It’s an extremely delicate process, but the results can be life-changing. Patients undergoing a successful hair transplant will benefit from a natural look without any visible traces of the surgery itself.

HairPalace’s hair transplant surgery is usually performed in a single day, with local anaesthesia to eliminate pain. This helps patients to feel comfortable and relaxed during the procedure.

5 Common Questions about Hair Transplants

Advances in hair loss hair transplantation surgery offer a permanent solution to baldness. You need to be careful about where you research these cutting-edge options, though: while plenty of websites cover hair loss and claim to provide reliable information, many of them lack trustworthy credentials.

HairPalace, though, is a reliable hair restoration clinic with an experienced team of experts ready to help you. In this post, we provide answers to the five most common questions patients ask about hair transplant surgery.

#1: How should you choose your hair transplant clinic?

Once you decide to undergo a hair transplant, your next step is to choose the right clinic.

You need to keep a few key factors in mind when looking for clinics. First of all, check hair transplant reviews written by previous patients: good or bad, these offer a valuable insight into the quality of a clinic’s services.

You should explore the clinic’s website too. Explore the background they provide on their team and surgeons, to ensure they have the proper qualifications.

At HairPalace, you can view informative videos featuring advice from experienced professionals.

#2: Do you need to pay for a hair transplant consultation in the UK?

It’s essential to have a personal consultation with your surgeon before your transplant. This lets you learn more about the process, enables you to ask further questions, and ultimately sets your mind at ease.

HairPalace gives you a free consultation at several locations across the UK, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds. A specialist will examine your current condition and decide on a bespoke personalised treatment plan for you.

Want to learn more? Check out this video:

#3: What happens on the day of the hair transplant?

Once your free consultation with HairPalace is complete, the next key step is to visit the clinic on the day of surgery. You can expect the best quality of care from the moment you arrive.

  • Step 1: You will be taken to see the specialist, who will perform another examination ahead of your surgery.
  • Step 2: Next, you will undergo the first part of the surgery: the harvesting. Donor hairs are taken from specific sites, and prepared for implantation.
  • Step 3: You will be able to get lunch after this stage.
  • Step 4: The implantation process will be performed after your break.
  • Step 5: You’re free to go home immediately – there’s no need to stay in our clinic overnight.

You can watch a video below to learn more:

#4: What advantages does the FUE SafeSystem method offer?

FUE SafeSystem is a cutting-edge technique for restoring hair. It allows for more precision during harvesting, eliminating the risk of damage to the surrounding area.

This method allows you to reach hair in more difficult places, such as behind the ears (where the hair quality is better). This makes the procedure safer and allows for better results.

Want to learn more about the FUE SafeSystem method? Watch the video below:

#5: Is there a guarantee on transplanted hair?

HairPalace provides you with a written guarantee on each implanted hair. We guarantee that 80% of your implanted hair will regrow within the first year of your procedure, and won’t fall out.

Conclusion

We hope we’ve given you plenty of helpful information!

5 Hollywood Celebs who got Hair Transplants

Hair transplants have helped thousands of men regain a youthful head of hair, including some of the most well-known faces in film and television.

Famous figures transformed by hair transplant surgery include actors, sports stars, singers, and more. Thicker, healthier hair has changed their entire look, while their results help to bring the benefits of hair transplants to more people.

Hair transplants are performed using a popular technique known as Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE). This takes individual follicles from the back of the head and implants them in thinning areas, creating a natural, powerful effect. The FUE 2 SafeSystem is the safest, most cutting-edge form of FUE, offering the greatest results.

Below, we take a look at 5 Hollywood celebs who underwent hair transplant surgery with fantastic outcomes.

1. James Nesbitt

Hair transplant James Nesbitt

Irish actor Nesbitt is known for varied roles in Murphy’s Law, Stan Lee’s Lucky Man, Cold Feet, The Hobbit trilogy, and more.

Nesbitt’s struggle with hair loss was played out in the public eye, and he was always honest about his problem. He discussed undergoing the surgery openly, and even recorded a promotional film for the medical centre which helped him.

Nesbitt claims his hair restoration treatment changed his life and improved his career.

2. Mel Gibson

Hair transplant Mel Gibson

Legendary movie star and director Mel Gibson underwent hair transplant surgery to restore his hair to a more youthful style.

Gibson sported thick, healthy locks in such diverse films as Lethal Weapon, Mad Max, and Braveheart. However, his hair thinned as he got older and led him to choose cutting-edge hair restoration.

He looks fantastic, and continues to work in successful film projects.

3. Sir Elton John

Hair transplant Elton John

Sir Elton John is a British icon, celebrated for his superior songwriting skills, powerful vocals, and exquisite piano-playing. Hits like ‘Candle in the Wind’, ‘Rocket Man’, ‘Step into Christmas’, and ‘Sacrifice’ have cemented John’s work in the lives of fans across the globe.

He was also one of the first superstars to undergo hair transplant surgery, no doubt inspiring other balding men. His hair started to thin in the ‘70s, but he opted for the treatment as a permanent solution years later.

Sir Elton John’s hair helped to make him look much younger, and no doubt restored some self-confidence.

4. Jason Gardiner

jason-gardiner-hair-transplant

Gardiner shot to fame for his no-nonsense, often controversial statements as a judge on ITV’s Dancing on Ice. He has undergone two hair transplants, with his second actually broadcast online as part of Spencer Kobren’s The Bald Truth.

He has talked about his treatments and the benefits in a suitably frank way, and he looks entirely different with fuller hair.

5. Dennis Miller

Hair transplant Dennis Miller

American Dennis Miller is known as a stand-up comedian, actor, talk show host, and sports commentator. He has thick, dark hair which nobody could imagine thinning – but he actually underwent a hair transplant in 2004.

It’s believed he acted fast, before his hair loss started to become noticeable, avoiding baldness altogether.

As you can see, hair restoration surgery works for men of all ages and backgrounds. Millions of males are affected by hair loss, but hair transplants are continuing to become a popular solution with permanent results.

After your Hair Transplant Surgery: Do’s and Dont’s

$
0
0

Hair transplantation are typically performed in one day. The surgery will be finished by 6pm in most cases, and patients are free to leave the clinic straight away.

However, the procedure doesn’t end when when you step outside. There’s more to be done, and you have to take great care during the recovery period to ensure the best results.

Join us as we explore the most important post-surgery do’s and dont’s below.

# First week

The first week after your hair transplant is the most important.

Why? Because the grafted follicles are still incredibly vulnerable during this period, and they need time to acclimate to their new location. You may experience certain symptoms in the donor and recipient areas, including:

  • Swelling
  •  Minor edema
  • Minor bleeding
  • Crusty patches

The healing process may create itchy sensations, but it’s vital that you never touch treated parts of your scalp: if you do, you could impede the growth process. Make sure you apply the spray you were given after your treatment on an hourly basis (or as directed).

Your surgeon will prescribe antibiotics and analgesics for use after the surgery, to prevent any inflammation and minimise pain. If you still experience any persistent inflammation, though, get in touch with HairPalace immediately.

You have to consider your sleep habits during the first week too. If you move too much during the night, you could damage the follicles and disrupt the healing process. You should sleep with two pillows or one that’s U-shaped, to minimise contact with the mattress.

# Second week

While the hair cannot be washed in the first week, it’s essential in the second (but only with water, no shampoo).

Make sure you rinse the scalp thoroughly and massage it gently, to help remove any crusts that may have formed. Towels should be placed on the head to absorb water, without actually rubbing or wiping it.

Physical exercise should be avoided for the first two weeks of recovery.

# Third week

Wash hair with a gentle shampoo, such as one formulated for babies. Moderate exercise may be permitted, depending on your surgeon’s recommendations.

# Fourth week

Be warned: some of your new hairs will fall out during the fourth week.

Don’t panic! This is entirely normal, due to the shock the follicles receive during the transplant (known as ‘shock loss’). This lasts for around two months, until the permanent new hairs start to grow from the fourth post-operative month onwards.

This renewed growth will be thicker and more youthful, creating a completely natural look. You’ll reach the final stage 12 to 18 months after the surgery, by which time even hair specialists won’t know you’ve had a transplant.

However, just one procedure isn’t enough for some patients.

When will two procedures be needed?

Hair transplant surgeons will consider a patient’s age when determining their suitability for a procedure. Young patients under the age of 25 may benefit from trying an alternative treatment first, such as growth-stimulating drugs.

Surgery is generally only considered when a patient’s balding has stopped and no further hair loss is likely. While transplanted hairs are not affected by DHT (dihydrotestosterone), the other follicles around it will be. This can create a healthy patch surrounded by balding areas.

As a result, a second procedure would be required to restore hair growth in the other regions affected. Performing a hair transplant too soon can end up costing patients more in the future, which is why it’s always best to be sure no more hair loss will occur.

A hair transplant performed by a qualified, experienced surgeon at the right time can be completely effective, but patients must take the steps necessary to ensure the best outcome.

How to find the Right Hair Transplant for You

$
0
0

Choosing the right hair transplant for you is easier said than done. Deciding whether to actually go through with the surgery or not demands careful thought, while actually finding the ideal clinic can be a long process too.

How do you do that? There are several factors you need to consider before you proceed.

Who is your surgeon?

Look into the qualifications your prospective surgeon carries. Just because they have years of working in the cosmetic surgery field doesn’t make them a perfect candidate to undertake your treatment.

Why? Because hair transplant surgery is like nothing else. The procedure involves more varied skills and precision, and surgeons must be well-trained in cutting-edge hair transplant techniques to ensure the best results.

Make sure your hair transplant clinic is run by a doctor certified by the Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. They must meet the necessary professional and ethical criteria, and be able to prove as much. If they can’t, you have no reason to believe you’ll get the highest standard of care.

Take mental notes during your consultation

Never forget that hair transplant clinics are a business just like any other. As a result, some  will try to transform your consultation into a sales pitch and try to convince you that a hair transplant is the perfect solution for your hair loss – even if you’re actually a poor fit.

Any clinics that take this approach should not be trusted. Another tactic they may try is to break the procedure into sessions, especially if you can’t afford to pay the cost of the entire hair transplant surgery upfront. This can leave you receiving fewer grafts than you actually need to make a visible difference.

Explore the clinic’s website

Take the time to research your potential clinic before you agree to the surgery. Visit their website and explore the clinic’s background, its team, the surgeons, and the techniques they utilise.

If you don’t do this, you may end up involved with people who have no qualifications or experience. Anyone can open a hair restoration clinic and perform the procedure – but this can be dangerous. Only trust certified, experienced surgeons with your hair.

Ask to see previous work

Request sample pictures and / or videos of previous procedures. Any reputable clinic will have these on record, and should display a selection on their website.

Speaking to satisfied patients can set your mind at ease even further. However, while Some clinics may set this up for you, not all patients will be happy to discuss their experiences with a stranger.

Any clinic that can’t or won’t provide you with proof of previous work may be untrustworthy.

Look into the latest technology

Always choose a hair transplant clinic offering the most cutting-edge treatments. Any surgeons using outdated technologies and techniques could end up leaving you with an unnatural look.

The best methods available today create a completely convincing, natural result that blends in with the rest of your hair. HairPalace’s team uses the FUE SafeSystem, a state-of-the-art tool that creates the most amazing results.

The best way to find the right hair transplant surgeon for you is to ask questions and research their credentials. Don’t rush into the procedure – be sure it’s truly what you want.

HairPalace’s experts will take the time to discuss any of your concerns and answer any questions you may have. Complete our booking form to arrange your own consultation now!

5 Key Points to Consider with Cheap Hair Transplants

$

Millions of men across the globe experience hair loss.

The Czech Republic is home to the most bald men, with a surprising 42.79 percent of males losing their hair. Spain has the second-highest number of bald men, followed by Spain, Germany, France, and the UK (with 39.23 percent).

For men of all nationalities, hair restoration treatment offers an effective way to overcome baldness – forever.

Price is a key consideration when undergoing a hair transplant. Many people rule the treatment out because they believe it’s too expensive for their budget.

Cheap options are available, though, but always be wary of costs that seem too good to be true. If clinics are providing hair transplants at an excessively cheap rate, they may be cutting corners – risking patients’ health, hair, and happiness.

What questions do you need to ask when considering cheap hair transplants?

#1: What do you get for your money?

Always check what services are included in your hair transplant price. You may be missing out in the long run.

Some clinics don’t offer a free consultation, which leaves you paying just to learn more about your options. Hidden hair transplant costs may be a danger too.

Professional hair restoration clinics like HairPalace provide free consultations and create bespoke treatment plans for every single patient. You can see the full costs of our services, and rest assured there are no hidden charges.

#2: Is your surgeon qualified?

Make sure you check what qualifications your surgeon possesses.

Today’s state-of-the-art technology demands a well-qualified, experienced surgeon competent enough to undertake the full hair transplant procedure.

#3: Could a language barrier cause problems?

Being able to speak the same language is vital for a smooth, safe, enjoyable hair restoration procedure.

If a clinic’s team is unable to speak your language, there may be severe misunderstandings that affect the safety and efficiency of the entire process.

Reputable clinics may hire interpreters for the day of your surgery to ensure you feel comfortable and fully informed. However, this is unnecessary at HairPalace, as all of our specialists and coordinators have a good command of English.

#4: What technique will be used?

The price of your hair restoration surgery can depend on the technique used.

You should only trust a clinic utilising the latest hair transplant technology and processes. Opting for a cheaper option may mean you undergo an older, less-effective method that could cause problems.

This can be even more of a risk if the surgeon is underqualified and inexperienced.

#5: Does the clinic have public reviews from previous patients?

Does the clinic you’re considering have any public reviews?

In the majority of cases, reviews offer a wealth of helpful information than a clinic may put on their website. You can learn how the clinic treats patients, how long the procedure takes, and more important details from reviews.

However, reviews may not always be genuine. If they seem to have the same tone and are all excessively positive, the reviews could be fake. Check a few different sites, if possible.

Conclusion

You have to take care with cheap hair transplants: verify the clinic’s credentials and identify why they’re right for you, and you’ll no doubt be fine.

HairPalace’s Hungary clinic provides service of the highest quality at a reasonable rate – no risks, no hidden costs.

On top of this, we give you a written guarantee for each implanted hair and are dedicated to your lasting satisfaction.

Why am I Going Bald? Causes and Potential Solutions

Hair loss is a common problem affecting millions of men and women across the globe, but how much do we actually know about it?

Examining the contributing factors makes understanding and handling baldness easier. Here are the top five reasons people lose their hair:

Lifestyle

The way we live our lives has an impact on our hair growth. Eating junk food to excess, failing to get enough sleep, and high stress levels can all contribute to an unhealthy lifestyle.

Smoking is another contributor to hair loss. This is due to the sheer amount of carcinogens and toxins found in cigarette smoke, which can damage keratins (basic proteins that build hair).

Quitting smoking, eating a healthier, more balanced diet, and trying to reduce stress levels is key to promoting better hair growth.

Genetics

Genetics are a common cause of hair loss. Male pattern baldness can be hereditary, thinning hair may be passed on by a mother’s genes too, but it’s actually much more complex: a recent study found that 287 different genetic signals are involved in baldness.

While you may not be able to prevent hair loss related to your genes, you can follow a healthy lifestyle to give your hair the best chance. Hair transplant surgery can restore hair in bald areas, though healthy hair is needed from the back or sides of the head first.

Hair styling / products

Excessive use of hair styling tools (curling tongs, straighteners, dryers etc.) and hair products can contribute to hair loss.

It’s important to take more care when tending to your hair. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends the following for better hair health:

  • Let your hair air dry partially before combing or styling
  • Blow dry your hair as infrequently as possible
  • Straighteners should only ever be used on dry hair, on a low or medium setting, no more than every other day
  • Avoid wearing hair extensions, braids, or tight ponytails for too long, as these can cause hair-breaking tension

Medication

Certain medications can cause hair loss, including:

  • Anticoagulants (these may lead telogen effluvium, a type of baldness that affects the full scalp
  • Beta blockers
  • Taking male and female hormones may trigger hormonal changes leading to hair loss
  • Antidepressants
  • Anticonvulsants
  • Chemotherapy may also cause hair loss

In many cases, baldness related to medications may not be permanent and your hair might grow back once treatment has ended.

Hormonal changes

Hormonal changes in both men and women may be to blame for hair loss. This is most common when pregnant or menopausal, while women with too much testosterone can start to lose their hair too.

Fluctuating thyroid levels may cause thinning hair too, as the body diverts more energy into managing hormones, potentially triggering baldness.

At HairPalace, we perform hair transplant surgery using the most cutting-edge techniques, for permanent results. You can rest assured that your hair will have a natural, healthy look, incorporating hairs taken from areas of stronger growth on the scalp.

Hair Transplant Myths: 4 Common Misconceptions

$
0
0

For many people, hair is a defining part of their character. They may spend hours each week washing and styling it, getting it ‘just right’.

Society’s views of hair affect this, too. After all, a full head of hair is often considered a mark of good health, youthfulness, and attractiveness.

For these reasons, hair loss can deal a major blow to your self-confidence, sense of identity, and entire self-image. As a result, your personality might change as your hair thins, becoming more withdrawn and generally unhappier.

Cutting-edge hair transplant surgery can provide a permanent solution to baldness, restoring growth with great success.

However, there’s a lot of misinformation out there, especially online. Myths and misconceptions can leave people believing this surgery is unsuitable for them, and ultimately prevent them getting potentially life-changing help.

Below, HairPalace’s experts take on the four biggest hair transplant myths – and set the record straight!

Myth 1: Hair transplants are only for the rich

There’s no denying that hair transplant surgery can be expensive, yet it’s certainly not limited to only the wealthiest.

The cost of hair transplants varies depending on the number of hairs involved, but patients tend to be satisfied with the price they pay as the surgery is so effective.

Numerous hair restoration clinics are available across the globe, offering balding patients a wealth of choice. More and more people are choosing to travel to another country to undergo their surgery, as this is generally more cost-effective than local options.

The price of HairPalace’s surgery in Budapest is around 50% lower than in countries like the UK and France.

Myth 2: Hair transplants are painful and leave scars

Neither of these are true.

The surgery itself is performed under a local anaesthetic, eliminating any pain during and after the procedure. Furthermore, your specialist will provide you with the proper painkillers to appease any discomfort you might feel throughout the healing phase.

As our surgeons use the state-of-the-art FUE SafeSystem technique, any scars created on the donor area are so miniscule they remain hidden from the naked eye. Discretion is assured.

Myth 3: Restored hair looks unnatural

A number of people believe hair transplants create unnatural results, populating the scalp with unconvincing hairs.

However, HairPalace always examines your hair and donor areas ahead of the surgery. This allows our specialists to identify the original pattern of hair growth and ensure donor hairs are harvested properly.

As the hairs are taken directly from the scalp, you can be sure your new hair will look exactly like the rest. These hairs will have the same colour and texture, allowing them to blend in for maximum discretion.

Only you will know you’ve undergone a hair transplant.

Myth 4: The younger the patient, the better

Age doesn’t matter in hair transplant surgery. In fact, success rates tend to be higher for older patients.

Why? While younger bodies do heal faster, determining the extent of hair loss can be difficult in people going bald earlier in life.

Older patients will likely have experienced hair loss for years (if not decades), and our specialists will be able to plan their treatment effectively with a brief examination. Younger people can still benefit, of course – our packages cater to different degrees of hair loss.

At HairPalace, you can rest assured that you only ever get the truth. Our team is honest, reliable, and dedicated to achieving the best in every single case.

How Much Does Wayne Rooney’s Hair Transplant Cost?

Exploring the Cost of Wayne Rooney’s Hair Transplant Surgery

It’s no secret that Wayne Rooney, one of the UK’s most famous footballers, has undergone two hair transplants.

Rooney started to lose his hair at a young age, which can be traumatic  — especially when you’re in the public eye. The newspapers and entertainment websites subject celebrities’ appearance to in-depth scrutiny, and Rooney’s hair loss received far more attention than the average man’s.

However, Rooney has not shied away from discussing his hair transplants and has inspired others to seek a solution for their baldness. One common question people with hair loss similar to Rooney’s ask is: how much does it cost?

Let’s take a closer look at pricing and the process itself.

Is hair transplant surgery a good idea?

Certain news outlets reported that Wayne Rooney had spent around £10,000 on his hair transplant. The cost is not identical for every patient, as prices are finalised based on various factors.

Some clinics charge graft by graft, basing their quote on the number of follicular grafts involved in the procedure. This can be costly in the UK, especially if undergoing the surgery at one of the more ‘exclusive’ clinics. The price will be even higher if your insurance provider fails to cover the procedure.

However, you can find lower hair transplant costs abroad, but you must exercise due caution. For example, heading to parts of Asia can be risky given the lack of regulations, and you could expose yourself to poor treatment.

One much safer option is available for Brits: travelling to Hungary for more affordable surgery from experienced, regulated specialists in a professional environment.

Hungary hair transplants

Many of Hungary’s hair transplant clinics charge based on the number of hairs used in the procedure. The most common surgical method used is follicular unit extraction (FUE).

FUE involves inserting healthy clusters of hair follicles from the donor area of the scalp into the thinning / bald zones. This is a safe, secure process that achieves lasting results. HairPalace’s experts use the most cutting edge technology, the FUE2 Safe Scribe, which is more precise.

HairPalace’s hair transplants in Hungary cost less than £1000 for 1000 hairs, which can restore significant regrowth in the target areas. This is far less expensive than undergoing the same treatment in the UK.

Rooney ended up having two procedures because his hair loss wasn’t complete: those areas untreated during the surgery started to thin. It’s important that anyone considering a hair transplant is not neglecting areas of hair loss, as the procedure only targets specific zones.

HairPalace offers comprehensive consultations in the UK (London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds or Dublin) before you visit Hungary for your treatment. This gives you the ideal opportunity to discuss your surgery, ask any questions you may have, and more. Costs and results are covered in great detail.

As more celebrities undergo hair transplants, it will continue to become more and more commonplace, giving people the confidence to seek the help they want.

Gossips About David Beckham’s Hair Transplant

David Beckham’s Hair Transplant – Celebrity Gossip VS the Truth

David Beckham is one of the most iconic male celebrities of the past two decades.

Today, we know him for his fashion modelling, cameo appearances in movies, and being part of one of the world’s biggest celebrity couples (with Victoria Beckham, AKA Posh Spice).

However, before all of this, Beckham made a major cultural impact for his presence on the football pitch. His flair with his feet and his good looks helped embed him into the public consciousness — and his stylish hair has always been key to his appeal.

While many of us will remember David Beckham’s flowing block locks in that familiar 90s style, his hair has changed again and again over the years. Glance back at a variety of pictures and you’ll see a fantastic faux hawk, short spikes, a simple crew cut and more.

It’s surprising, then, that celebrity gossip columns and magazines have continued to speculate on the health of his hair growth. Rumours of hair transplant surgery have circulated again and again — but where do they end and the truth begin?

What is the truth of David Beckham’s hair transplant?

Wayne Rooney’s hair transplant surgery could be one catalyst for the rumours surrounding Beckham.

Rooney, of course, has been remarkably frank about his own surgery. The post-procedure change in his physical appearance is astounding, but he was clearly balding from a fairly early age.

In contrast, Beckham’s hair has always appeared thick and healthy, serving as a defining facet of his distinctive style. Though he has showed no signs of hair loss, the subject has surfaced in interviews, but Beckham has shot speculations down in a firm yet polite manner.

Beckham has claimed to have no problem with hair transplant surgery and understands people’s choice to go through with it, but denies having done so himself. He suggested he would prefer to shave his hair off if it started to fall out, rather than opting for surgery.

It’s hard to tell whether he has actually undergone a hair transplant just by looking at pictures, but there’s no reason for him to lie. After all, one would assume that Beckham would make a valuable spokesperson for any clinic that restored his hair, and his honesty could help to inspire many other men affected by hair los to find a solution. As it is, we have to take David Beckham on his word. Still, if he wanted to avoid hair loss as much as possible, what steps could Beckham take?

How to avoid balding

One way to combat hair loss is to adopt a more nutritious diet, filled with crucial vitamins and minerals.

Start eating more of the following foods to promote healthy hair growth:

  • Berries
  • Eggs
  • Spinach
  • Avocadoes
  • Nuts
  • Seeds
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Lentils
  • Broccoli
  • Kiwi fruit
  • Papaya
  • Guava

Avoiding stress as much as you possibly can will also help to reduce your risk of hair loss, though this is often easier said than done. Practice meditation, get plenty of exercise (if viable), and spend more time doing things you enjoy. Always be willing to share your worries or frustrations, rather than letting them swell inside you.

A hair transplant surgery is an ideal solution to combat hair loss and restore healthy growth, but it’s vital to wait until all hair loss is complete. Further balding can require multiple procedures, as in the case of Wayne Rooney.

Risk of Scars after Hair Transplants

Does Hair Transplant Surgery cause Scarring?

If you’re considering hair transplant surgery, you’re bound to have questions.

One of the most common is: will I have scars?

As hair transplants involve incisions, some scarring is inevitable. However, the technique used will dictate the level of scarring you develop following your procedure.

In this post, we explore the differences between Follicular Unit Transfer (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), two of the most common transplant methods utilised today.

FUT versus FUE

FUT

When a surgeon performs hair restoration using the FUT technique, they cut a fairly large piece of flesh from the back and sides of the scalp (usually a strip measuring around 30 cm x 1 cm).

This provides the surgeon with the right number of grafts to apply to the patient’s balding areas.

Each graft is a follicle unit containing between 1 and 4 hairs, all of which share the same follicle and skin structure. This cut is made almost from ear to ear, and ends up so big it needs to be stitched.

It’s impossible to remove all traces of this extensive wound entirely, and at least 1 cm of hair is required to cover the resulting scar after the healing process is complete.

FUE

The process is completely different with the FUE technique.

The donor grafts are removed from the scalp one-by-one, using a very fine, precise surgical tool. The wounds are kept much smaller than in the FUT procedure, and are distributed across the occipital part of the scalp.

The scars that form are so discrete, they’re virtually unnoticeable. Even a short hair style is usually enough to keep all traces of treatment hidden from view.

As a result, the FUE hair transplant procedure is the leading choice.

Exploring the implantation procedure

There is no difference between the FUT and FUE implantation methods. In both techniques, small incisions are cut into the bald parts of the scalp in preparation for the incoming grafts.

The number of grafts to be placed into the skin determines the quantity of incisions, but it can be between 1000 and 3000. All of these are kept as fine as possible, but are still wounds in the flesh.

In rare cases, infections may occur, disrupting the healing process. This is a situation everyone wants to avoid.

However, as the patient’s own follicles are transplanted, any infections can be cured with relative ease, eliminating the risk of rejections. Scabs form over the wounds once the healing process is underway, but these may be washed away fairly easily.

Eventually, the only remnants of the surgery will be small scars on the scalp, which are almost invisible.

The transplanted hairs will fall out a few days after the hair transplant surgery, but this is entirely normal. This shedding is caused by the shock of the operation, and the transplanted follicles need time to adjust to their new placement.

However, once this transitional period is over, the new hairs will grow and cover these discrete scars completely.

As you can see, FUE is the most appealing of these two techniques, and is available from HairPalace’s expert team. We have helped many men restore their youthful hairlines and enjoy permanent, discrete results with FUE surgery.

Our specialists use cutting-edge technology to achieve the most comfortable, effective, and natural outcome. If you want to learn more and discuss your options, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Celebrity Hair Transplant Stories: Joey Fatone

Celebrity Hair Transplant Stories: Joey Fatone

Celebrities face a lot of pressure from themselves, the media, and the public to look at their best.

If a celebrity feels unhappy with his hair (or the lack of it) they may feel especially sensitive to people’s comments, and widespread scrutiny can cause emotional difficulties. Today, hair transplant surgery offers everyone the chance to restore their youthful hair permanently – and for celebrities, this can make being in the public eye easier to handle.

This is the first in an ongoing series of posts exploring male celebrities who have undergone hair transplants. Here, we start with former NSYNC singer, Joey Fatone.

The Story Behind Joey Fatone’s Hair Transplant

Native New Yorker Joey has had a remarkable career. He got his big break as part of the super-successful boyband, NSYNC (which also brought Justin Timberlake to mainstream audiences), and has gone on to become a television host. Fatone can also be seen in certain episodes of truTV’s hit hidden-camera series, Impractical Jokers.

Fatone performed in front of millions of fans during his NSYNC days, and the band acquired countless female admirers. Boybands tend to be celebrated as much for their looks and style as for their talent, and suffering from hair loss would no doubt have a seriously detrimental effect on anyone’s self-confidence when subjected to such constant publicity.

Fatone has discussed how self-conscious he started to feel when he noticed his hair thinning while still part of NSYNC, and how he started to wear hats more and more often to disguise his thinning hair – a common choice for men struggling to accept their baldness.

Joey Fatone underwent a hair transplant surgery in 2013, and the results are clearly impressive. His hair appears much fuller, thicker, and healthier, giving him the more youthful look he so badly craved for years.

Since Fatone underwent his surgery, his career has continued to flourish. His appearances in Impractical Jokers have demonstrated his confidence, wit, and genial attitude – as well as a thick head of hair. Though he may have seemed much the same person before his hair transplant, it’s likely that he feels much more comfortable inside now.

What is Hair Transplant Surgery?

Hair transplant surgery is available for any men experiencing hair loss. FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is the safest technique today, allowing experienced surgeons to remove healthy hairs from the back and sides of the head, before implanting them into the balding areas. One, two, or three hairs are extracted at a time, under a local anaesthetic.

A punch tool is used to remove the hairs, and insert them into the scalp, and different packages are available depending on the number of hairs needed to restore healthy growth in the target zone.

As the surgery uses hairs already growing on your head (rather than elsewhere on the body), the results are completely natural and authentic. A lack of visible traces ensures total discretion, too.

Like Joey Fatone, anyone undergoing hair transplant surgery can enjoy a fuller head of hair with permanent results.

Cutting-Edge Hair Loss Treatments

Millions of men in the UK experience hair loss at one stage or another. This may be permanent or temporary (depending on the underlying causes), and its impact differs from one man to other.

Baldness can leave men with reduced self-confidence and affect their everyday life in various ways.

They may feel as if people stare at them, or assume they’re older than they really are; the effects could even be powerful enough to cause depression over a number of years.

Many men, though, remain unaffected by their hair loss.

Regardless of their reaction, countless men would like to restore their youthful head of hair, and the latest innovations offer highly-effective ways to do so.

Why does hair stop growing, and what options can you choose from if you’re looking to regrow your hair?

Hair 101: How Does it Grow?

Before we examine the different types of hair-restoration treatments on today’s market, it’s helpful to look at what hair actually is and how it grows.

Hair follicles cover multiple areas of the body, most prominently the scalp.

They sit just under the skin’s topmost layer, and produce hair through a fascinating growth cycle consisting of the following phases:

Anagen:

New hair shafts are born during the first part of the process.

Exogen:

The fresh hair shaft then replaces the dead one, pushing it out of the flesh until it falls out. This is a perfectly normal, natural sequence.

New hairs continue to grow and reach outside of the flesh’s surface, ultimately maturing to become strong, healthy hairs.

Catagen:

After this, part of the follicle is destroyed, though the rest of it remains and is renewed.

Telogen:

The follicle lies dormant during this phase, until the body essentially activates it into growing new hair again.

It’s amazing how easily we can take hair for granted, and remain unaware of the complexity involved in its growth.

What are Some of the Most Common Causes of Baldness?

Male pattern baldness is the most common and well-known cause of hair loss.

Otherwise known as androgenetic alopecia, male pattern baldness is triggered by the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

This is believed to cause hair follicles to shrink, altering the anagen phase of the growth cycle to leave part or all of the scalp without fresh hair. Hair loss occurs in the familiar M-shaped pattern we all recognise, with hairs on the back and sides of the head unaffected.

Other causes of hair loss include undergoing physical and / or emotional stress so severe it affects the hair growth cycle, lack of protein in your diet, vitamin B deficiency, genetic factors, and losing too much weight too quickly.

Autoimmune issues, such as an overactive immune system, can lead to baldness too, as the system mistakenly views hair as a foreign body.

Chemotherapy is another known trigger for hair loss.

The results of these may be temporary or permanent.

Male pattern baldness lasts for the rest of one’s life, while hair loss caused by stress is likely to reverse once stress levels drop.

Treatment for hair loss varies from creams and injections to state-of-the-art hair transplant surgery.

Today’s Solutions for Baldness

Drugs / Medications for Hair Loss

One of the most well-known products that claims to reduce baldness and promote fresh growth is minoxidil.

This usually comes as part of a special shampoo or oral medication.

In most cases it needs to be massaged into the scalp deeply to slow the hairs’ shedding.

It’s believed to allow more oxygen and nutrients to reach the hair follicles, causing healthy new shafts to grow.

Minoxidil has proven to help a minority of men regrow their hair, but it has to be used on a permanent basis to remain effective, and results may take as many as six months to show.

Side effects can include swelling of the face, change in heartbeat rate, itching, burning, irritation, or even undesirable hair growth in other areas of the body.

Finasteride is another medication used to treat hair loss, as it reduces DHT production in the body, potentially by more than half.

Some of the potential side effects of Finasteride medications give real cause for concern too, like sexual dysfunction, male breast enlargement, and insulin resistance (a major disadvantage for those with diabetes).

Hair Transplant Surgery

Hair transplant surgery is the most effective, safest way to promote healthy growth of new hair.

HairPalace specialises in FUE hair transplantation – the most reliable option available today.

Follicular Unit Extraction achieves an entirely natural look, as it uses your existing hair follicles to encourage new growth.

These are taken from the back and sides of the head, cleaned, and then transplanted into bald areas of the scalp.

As hair starts to grow, it does so in the same colour and texture – ensuring total authenticity.

Between one and three hairs are extracted from the flesh at a time, removed from the back and sides in a staggered pattern – this prevents areas of healthy growth being too heavily thinned-out.

The harvested hair follicles are put in a solution to keep them clean, ready to be reinserted into the scalp.

FUE can be performed under local anaesthesia, and as the surgeon performing the hair transplant works on the two top layers of the skin only, there are no visible traces after the  surgery.

It’s incredibly discrete, and nobody is likely to realise you’ve had the treatment unless you tell them.

FUE Hair Transplant Success Rate

The S.A.F.E. Scribe tool is a revolutionary aid to FUE, providing remarkable rates of success: between 95 and 100 percent of the implanted hairs grow back.

The healing process following the hair transplant surgery with the S.A.F.E Scribe tool is faster, and it allows people with Afro-Caribbean or grey hair to experience the same rejuvenating treatment (unlike previous technologies).

FUE carries none of the potential side effects discussed above, and involves no augmentation of the body’s internal processes (such as changing hormone levels).

Best of all, the results are permanent, unlike in case of those products which have to be used consistently for the rest of one’s life.

As you can see, of all the different hair loss treatments available today, FUE hair transplant surgery is the most effective, the safest, and long-lasting option.

Onyx offers menus with up to four and six courses, across two different types: one (‘Within Our Borders’) features dishes based on local favourites and traditions, while the other (‘Beyond Our Borders’) focuses on more unusual, imaginative concepts of the chefs’ own creation.

Onyx has been awarded a Michelin star each year since 2011, and the restaurant received its second star in 2018.

Muzeum Cafe and Restaurant

The Muzeum Cafe and Restaurant has been serving diners since 1885, and is based in the historical splendour of Pest’s downtown area.

It specialises in delicious, traditional Hungarian dishes, and has welcomed a number of famous actors and politicians in its time (their signatures are recorded in the restaurant’s guest book).

The décor is striking, with antique touches, exquisite ceiling art, and a Venetian mirror originating from the 19th century.

Hilda

Hilda is based in Budapest’s city centre, on the popular Nador Street, and focuses on using natural ingredients from local suppliers. Hilda is committed to free range products and has a distinctive décor, with lots of colors and sheen.

Traditional foods – such as goulash – are available, and Hilda caters to varied tastes.

Nobu

Nobu is a chain of restaurants owned by chef Nobu Matsuhisa and iconic movie star Robert De Niro, and Budapest’s branch was the first to be established.

It has a sushi bar and a lounge bar big enough to seat 56 guests, with a unique blend of Japanese dishes carrying touches of South American and Hungarian cuisine too. As you can imagine, the menu is incredibly diverse, mixing an unexpected combination of flavours.

Caviar & Bull

The Caviar & Bull has built a powerful reputation for itself in the past three years or so, and claims to have served more than 80,000 diners in that time.

The team of chefs use locally-sourced ingredients and incorporate traditional Hungarian recipes into its ever-growing menu. Its décor is stylish and modern, while the food is popular with locals and tourists alike.
